Next meeting of the Harmony Fire District will be January 15, 2009 - 7 pm

All About Us:  This section describes where we are located and how the department operates.  You'll also find information about our equipment and trucks, as well as a list of some of the special training our fire fighters have completed. Our broadcast frequencies can also be found in this section.  Check it out! Go to this section and see a photo of the station taken from space.  There's also a link to where you can find your own house.

Trading & Collecting: Are you a collector of fire department memorabilia?  Here you will find the items we sell that will make a great addition to your collection.  We've got books, glasses and more!!

Fun Pages:   Are you a kid, or just one at heart!  This page has fun stuff for every-one.  Check it out.  And it's not only fun, it's also safe for the entire family. We're constantly adding new things for you to do and see.  Parents not allowed unless accompanied by a kid!

Got a Question:  This page is the first place to look for any question you may have about the department.  It includes questions and answers about the fire tax you pay, our Executive Board, and safety issues.

Our History: How did the Fire Company start and what has happened between then and now!  It's an interesting story!  In the next few weeks we'll tell these stories.

Safety Tips:  There is never a time when safety should not be your number one consideration.  Be sure to view this page for ideas on how to keep safe and what to do in an emergency situation.  One of these tips may someday help you save a life!

Memorial: Here you will find a list of  Harmony Fire Department members who have passed.  A tribute to our local heroes who took up the call and answered a great need. There is also a memorial in front of the Fire Station. Click on this little picture to see a big one then use your back button to return here. Then click on the link to view the page.

I WISH YOU COULD

An unsigned poem that tells about the emotional and physical stresses a firefighter goes through.  Please click here to read it! You'll have a better understanding of what it's like to be a firefighter.  After reading this poem you'll know more about how the men and women felt who rushed into the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, many of which didn't make it out.   You'll know more about what the firefighters had to cope with after the Station Fire in West Warwick, RI on 2/20/03.  And, you'll know more about how your neighbor feels when responding to a call.
